Hi ppls
I recently bought a kfa2 gtx 1050 2gb off ebay. The card does not output anything. The fans spin.I tried to run this thing without the fans and the gpu doesn’t not produce any heat.I cant afford to reball this thing.I could reflow but i dont think that it will last long enough to sell.
I have definitely inserted this this thing in properly. It is not detected by the bois or windows.
Ive seen some vids with ppl using some next level tech and replace chips and other stuff.I dont want to spend £100 on a card thats not even worth £50 anymore.I tried to heat this up with a radiator but i was 150c away from reaching solder melting point.I could use a heat gun but this fix isnt long term enough.I only have 1 oven and i dont want do destroy it by baking my card in it.

i want to know if i can fix this thing long term
And
If this card is dead?

Solution
Sounds like a DOA GPU. Do you have option to return to seller? Is it still under a manufacturer warranty?

If not, I would recommend you write off as a loss and move on.
