I'm trying to connect the Type C output of either either a Trendnet PC laptop and/or and Acer Chromebook to any one of several HDMI projectors to do Zoom meetings. I've gotten video out of either a ceiling-mounted Panasonic Projector (with HDMI) or a no-name Chinese cheapy before, but now I can't get either laptop to recognize either projector, much less deliver video. I've tried multiple cables and a Type C dongle that has a large HDMI port.
My current thinking is that either a) neither laptop's USB-C supports video output; b) bad cables/adapters; some anti-Troll setting in Zoom is blocking HDMI output (Zoom Pro, not Zoom Room license); I've somehow burned out my HDMI ports.
Any suggestions or recommendations welcomed.
