[SOLVED] Dead MacMini can't find driver 10.1

Macmini 10.4 tried clearing it to use only for Nascar 2003. Lost it all. Now have screen with printed message some I can read "Unable to find driver for this program 10.1" - Kernel version 8.11.0 Wed Oct 20 2007. Have rectangle box with white circle containing smaller black circle. "Hold down restart several seconds" does not work. I have had help from mac friends, etc.Tried several ways to restart holding various keys, no help. Is there a page in my Sad Macs, Bombs, Disasters, Book. Did I kill it? When I do start it up there is the start up sound. Once in a while I will see the Apple Logo but it quickly disappears and the worded screen appears. Thank you for your time and Thank You.

Do you have a cd? Unfortunately Apple doesn't support items after seven years.

I have been trying for years to play Nascar 2003. I bought new CD, thought I had it running on MacMini Ser. YM521410RHT EMC 2026 Oct 2007. 10.4 Got the bright idea to erase hard drive so only Nascar2003 would be on HD. I ended up with not being able to start up (Mac Dead) Got a message that Naascar would not work on 10.4 that I needed 10.5 or 10.6 Bought used MacMini 10.6 on ebay. Came yesterday, will not power up at all. 1.5 intel EMC 2108
86333USU35 05-02-60. On the first mini I do get start up tone,on light and black screen with printed data. I used the same connections on that Mini on lthe
ebay mini. Not even a start up tone, no light. I thank you for your reply. One of the major problems could be I'm going on 80. I might add that I am using Ted Landau "Sad Macs..." power reading, I wish I was 18 again!

Looks like you need a restore CD for them. May be able to find them somewhere. Could also look up a local Mac service shop. Wonderful 80?! Fabulous! I would imagine you have gained much wisdom.

Their is always a problem...The Macmini with10.4 is the one that chimes, a quick apple logo and then the printed screen. Problem there is
the CD doesn't work. The MacMini I got 10.6 from ebay that nothing starts up including the CD. I have CD't quite aways back, OSX. So I buy me
a new macmini, doesn't have a CD player and wouldn't reconize NasCar any way. I think my next move is to buy another 10.6 and hope for better luck.
The one that came dead was from Reusability Co. San.Fran. I will try some where else....My thanks for your email, I don't feel 80 more like 95!!

I finely got the solution.. The OS10 Macmini 4.8 takes a 85 watt power pack
5.8 takes a 100 watt power pack

Great, yes you would need to have the correct power supply. Wonderful!
