DEAD Monitor? LG 27MP75 27" LED IPS

Hi there,

I am incredibly disappointed right now with the state of my build, due entirely to my new monitor. It was working perfectly for the last two weeks, and today, as I was using my PC, I started noticing a consistent, intermittent flickering/flashing onscreen. For simplicity, I took a video of this:

Important to note is that this issue is NOT caused by my GPU, motherboard, or power supply. This problem persists even when disconnected from the PC entirely, with only the monitor's power cable connected.

Has anybody ever experienced anything like this before? Am I completely out of luck and stuck with a dead monitor, and will I just have to try and get an RMA on this?

Since it's only been 2 weeks, I would just RMA it. If it does it by itself and not plugged into the computer it's most likely the monitor's fault and needs to be returned.

I originally purchased from Best Buy - should I be taking this back to BB? Or is this something I should take directly to LG? Thanks very much.

Try Best Buy first since you bought it there, but their exchange policy is within 15 days. If that doesn't work you'll have to contact LG about a warranty repair.
