[SOLVED] Dead motherboard ?

So yesterday I tried replacing my cpu because I had no video output but when I tried to restart my pc nothing turned on, absolutely nothing, I checked all my power cables, I tried another psu but it’s still not working

A: Yes, imo. Are there any power-on led's show the mobo recognizes power?

Suggestion, if a mobo won't start post, always include make, model and age. I am no pro but I have read many pro posts & there seems disagreement about what can cause a mobo to not respond to power at all. E.G, is a bad cpu a reason why absolutely nothing happens? afaik most newer boards don't need anything to start posting.

I have a keen interest in this atm due to 2 Z97 fails I have posted abt. Many mobo fails occur when something is upgraded, so first thought is the new item or bad installation is the problem. People replace vid card cuz video problems, then system won't boot, etc. It seems you had on-board display so you cant know if it's the board or...
