dead on arrival?

purchased a ryzen 3 2200g and a a320m-s2h mobo and the mobo was dead on arrival. returned it and got replacement and hooked it up. and nothing. no fans spinning, no lights, no beeps, nothing. it's not just a no post, the power supply won't even spin, for a moment, at all. i tried it with an evga 430w and a corsair cx450m and a coolmax cu 700b, all 3 came from running systems. jumped the power pins in case it was the switch in the case. am i missing something? is there something i have to do prior to installing this board?? hard to believe 2 in a row were just dead.

could it be doa cpu or ram? i thought it would still at least spin up the fans and beep if so, but maybe you all know something i don't.

It sounds like you got another DOA board. Try hooking up just the CPU to the power supply and then jumping the power supply. See if that works at all.

i pulled the board and hooked up just the 24 pin power and 8 pin power, only the cpu and 1 stick of ram on the board.. turned on the power supply and jumped the power switch jumper and absolutely nothing. got to be some low odds of getting a bad mobo twice in a row,
