Question Dead pc

Hello,

I've encountered an issue the other day with my computer as i was watching videos, computer screen suddenly went black, but the pc didn't turn off, all the fans were working fine except for the cpu fan it spiked to 100% and was staying. When i turn on my pc i get no beeps no post screens, cpu fan goes to full power. I decided to let it work for a couple mins then switched off the power, removed the cpu fan to check the cpu and it was cold. I switched the motherboard to check if my PSU was having issues, but on another motherboard with a different cpu everything seemed to work fine, also tried removing my ram and GPU to check for beeps, nothing happened, could this be a mobo issue?

Full specifications including make and model of the PSU? How old is the PSU?

Motherboard - Acer DIB75L-Lena
GPU - GTX 550TI
PSU - CHIEFTEC APS-450S
CPU - CORE I5 -2400
RAM -4X2GB KINGSTON

I'm not sure about the age of my PSU, it's probably pretty old i bought a used one, but i was thinking it can't be a power supply issue since when i turned it on another motherboard in which the components used more power than the one specified here it worked fine.
