Question Dead PCIe slot?

My GPU hasn't been working on one of the PCIe slots (works fine on the other lanes). I am assuming that the lane is dead. How can I check this to make sure?

You could try a different card in the same slot to see if it only fails with your current GPU. Even just a 4x wifi card would tell you a lot of information.
