Dead pixel gone?

I had a dead blue sub-pixel on my Hitachi CML174, now it's gone. How can this be possible?

You sure you just didn't stop noticing it? Check again, and yes it's possible, though oftentimes a bit of moisture or dust can make a pixel look dead, yet all u need to do is wipe it away!

this worries me.....so i could spend hundreds of pounds on a 192t when it comes out (or any next gen 19" LCD) just for a pixel to die in the middle of the screen? arghhhh that would annoy the hell out of me, it's not as if i can buy a CRT either i need portability.

Pixels will not die if you don't press the screen to get that swirly effect. In addition, you prolly won't notice a dead pixel if it's by itself.

Ah, mom touches the damn screen all the time, must till her to stop.

And the dead pixel is really gone! I'm so happy, a pixel wake up from the dead.
