Dead pixel ?

Just got a new 1080p monitor off of amazon. There is a small black dot on the monitor that I thought was just debris but I can't wipe it away. I think it is a dead pixel. What should I do? Return it? Try to fix it? Any way you know to fix it?

It is an AOC i2367Fh. I was surprised to find this because not one review said that it had dead pixels

I've never heard of AOC, but maybe that's just me. Sometimes these inexpensive brands have dead pixels.

With LCD panels dead pixels are pretty common(all brands) and many companies will only warranty after so many and based on the location they appear.

It sucks, but Amazon is very good so I do not think you would have issues getting another one.
