Dead pixels check?

Hey everyone,

I bought myself a new system (it's only going to arrive in about 20 days since I ordered the rampage 4 black edition) And with that I bought a new monitor and I have that now with a 30 day warranty in case of dead pixels.

So my question is, can I test the monitor on my old pc (has a crappier graphic card, lower resolution) and still see if the monitor will have dead pixels, or would I have to wait for the new pc to see it with full resolution to see if there is dead pixels?

Thanks!

You can check for dead pixels with your current system. Just load up some solid-color images (one black, one white) and display them in full screen mode. The resolution rendered by your GPU will not change whether or not your monitor has dead/stuck pixels.
