Question Dead pixels from deep scratch

I have bought this monitor like this. The scratch is pretty deep and visible, and at the tip of it, around 3 pixels are stuck as white. Is this the polarizing film damaged? or preferably, is there any cheap and easy way to fix it, if at all, without replacing the panel?

Here are the images showing how it looks like. Its basically a 0.5mm wide dot of white pixels on dark background, at the tip of a quite deep scratch
