Dead Power Switch

My power switch on antec 300 is dead.

On my asrock extreme4 it has a power switch on the board.

Is there anything wrong with using the board to turn it on and off until I find a replacement? Is it safe?

while its not safe to constantly be reaching in your case (think static discharge) it wont do any harm if you're carefull. I would use a chopstick to press the button while I have my other hand hold the case to ground myself out.
