Hi, I've had a Corsair power supply for about a year. Came home Monday night, and my PC was dead. I got a replacement PS next day. When I installed it, I found out that my 2 HD's (configured as RAID 1) I use as a data drive were dead (I removed and tested). Also my DVD burner drive was recognized by Windows, but it won't open/eject. Appears the motor won't work. My solid state drive is working fine. My UPS software shows no spikes/surges etc...in the last 4 weeks.

I put in a backup HD with the new PS and it works fine, so the MB appears to be OK. I can't find any issue.

Just curious if anyone has ever heard of a PS killing HD's or DVD's like that? I've had PS go bad before (the Corsair was an RMA replacement) but never kill a component like that.

Thanks in advance!
