Question Dead sata cable?

Recently i tried turning on a game and got this error:
The drive or network connection that the shortcut refers to is unavailable. Make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the network resource is available, and then try again.

Windows and Bios don't detect any hdd just my ssd, the hdd is on, so i think its an issue with the sata cable.

So is the sata cable dead or there is something else going on?

Also, check the SATA power cable.

FYI, if you need SATA cables, I have a large number in various colors, lengths etc that I can send you for free, at least if you're in the USA anyways

Once you swap this drive with another, and/or, move this drive to a known good SATA port/cable,.... you will know.
