I'm not sure if this is where to post this so sorry in advance.

I recently got dead space 2 and have been trying to get the game to play at 60 fps without the screen tearing. I've tried going in to my graphics card options but that didn't work. Is there a way to fix it in the .In files or any other known fix?

I have an RX 460 2gb,amd fx 6300 and 8gb of ram if that helps.

welcome to the club

set the resolution and refresh rate to 30 hz and enable vsync

that is how i play gta v, well, all my games

60hz gives problems for my tv, and this tv is 120hz, or a lie or something else i don't know

you could try to enable vsync at 60hz but seems to give more problems, at least on my part of the tv club
the screen tearing depends on gpu and monitor

what monitor do you have?

did you enabled vsync? if you did the game usually runs at 30 frames per second and monitor try to run a 30 or 60 hertz

if one part is not doing hat you get screen tearing

I'm in the minority of pc users who game on a TV so I'm using a 50 proscan led 60 hz. The guides that I looked at said to force vsync in Radeon pro and turn it off in game.

That's the guide I was using and I haven't had any luck.

Oddly enough this is the only game I have trouble with when it comes to vsync. I guess it's where it caps the game at 30 fps. I guess if I can't figure it out I can live with the tearing if it means I have smoother gameplay.
