granted it doesn't have tuner built in but it IS HD TV with HDMI port...

and I don't know about the quality of the speakers...they sound "hollow" so I just use my Etymotic ER-4 earphones...

I just got one of these for myself recently.. I was going to splurge and get a 1920x1200 28" monitor for just over $300, but I saw this in the store for this same price and couldnt pass up the deal.. Ive got a rather wide desk so I dont have it sitting right in front of me like with my like my old 22" monitor and its great.. I used the Monster Monitor calibration DVD my friend left at my house and the picture is awesome.. Ive got a 5.1 system for the PC so I havent tested out the speakers, they are probably crap..
