[citation][nom]XZaapryca[/nom]Has anyone seen a better deal in the past on that 73" TV? Thinking about getting it.[/citation]
That's the lowest I've seen it go. This model is on its way out so make sure you pick up some spare bulbs or check bulb compatibility with newer models. Most reviews I've read say the bulb lasts 3+ years.

Its replacement:

Happy hunting!

Thanks for the heads up. The part number for a replacement bulb on the WD73C9 is 915B403001 and is compatible with a number of current/older models. However the part number for the new WD73C10 is 915B441001 and not widely available at this time. Looks like this newer bulb will be for all the upcoming model TV's, according to the owner guides for all the ones I looked at.

Glad I could help. I did a lot of research on the TVs but decided to hold off until Full 1080p 3D started landing on the market in force. As of this typing I found that only Samsung has released those.
