O.K. - something instantly stood out as soon as I saw this article: That Sony laptop is VERY similar to a Macbook Pro 15", minus the fact that the Macbook Pro costs $1,799 BASELINE for the 15".

Let's not forget the fact that you also get a PS3 included with the Sony laptop.


I had to miss something - there's no way Apple is really charging $800 more - and that's not even thinking much about that PS3 you're getting.


Oh yeah, pretty good deal on the SSD.

I find it interesting that the Solid got a price cut shortly after THW's thorough review of SSD's.

OCZ has a terrible tendency of failure on their SSD's.
For all the reasons to get a SSD OCZ makes it in reverse with
the exception of speed.

Also the first deal of the laptop and PS3 bundle is incorrectly priced on here. The actual price is $1,079.98 not $949.98.
