When my mom approached me about a laptop a couple days ago I hit some sights. I thought that this provided a fantastic bang for the buck solution.

$480 for a 2nd Gen i5, 8GB Ram, 500GB HDD. Lack of excessive peripherals, but my mom didn't need too many. I almost bought one for my wife too.
