My deathadder 2013 just recently stopped working. I've uninstalled the driver and disabled it, and nothing happened. Now it comes up as 'unknown USB device (device descriptor request failed). So now I cant access the driver even when I plug it in.
The description it gives me is "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)
A request for the USB device descriptor failed."
I have also tried to reinstall razer synapse and reboot my computer, but nothing is working.

Solution
Chances are it's dead. Try it on another device just to make sure. Razor is know, for their low quality but gamers continue to throw money at them because they like the feel of Razor products.

If you are going to buy a new mouse, I would highly recommend a Logitech. They have the best customer service of any hardware company and their products are of good quality.

DId you find any solution for this problem ? i'm having the same issue (unknown USB peripheral) , yet the mouse is working perfectly fine on another computer. is it Windows 10's fault ?

Hm, if it is working fine on another computer that it has to be something to do with your windows 10 computer. First, uninstall the drivers for the mouse and then let windows reinstall them automatically. Also try using the mouse on different USB ports.
