I'm not sure if it's a clump of hair or a small wood chip . Any advice on removing it ? Can I spray the board with water ? ( don't have compressed air can nor can I afford one ) ANY and all help is appreciated

Alright so what you're going to want to do is take your Mobo to the nearest tire repair shop, put .25$ in the coin fed tire pump, and spray that sucker down lol actually you would be better off with Rubbing Alcohol and fine tweezers or something fine tipped that you can poke around (very carefully) with.

Actually a good idea thanks ! There's one down the road . I'm pretty near sited to the point where I wouldn't even atempt to touch the mobo with tweezers

DO NOT blow on the board with 100psi(+), unfiltered gas station compressed air!

100PSI (+) compressed air...alcohol...water, to remove a bit of lint from socket. That's like using a battleship to sink a row boat.

Just get a straw and blow on it if you don't have canned air, or use an artist's brush to brush it out. But if you can drive to a gas station to use their compressed air then go the extra mile to Walmart and spurge for some canned air which will be a lot cheaper than a new motherboard.

I was just kidding around with the tire pump compressor. I'm not sure how safe it would be to actually do that, but I mean if it is your last resort you could try. Please wait for someone else to give their input on that idea because I don't want you to ruin your board lol

Yes okay thank you, I was completely kidding about that lol

An artist brush is indeed a soft bristled paint brush that's small and easily controlled. Not knowing just how soft the bristles of your baby tooth brush is I'd hate to say they're OK. And besides your kid needs it worse than your gaming habit does
