Debug light sequence then crash

I recently put together all of the parts I need to finish my computer. Upon completing my build I tried to power the pc on. The CPU debug light came on then off, then the DRAM debug light does the same, then back to the cpu light, all of this takes about 3 seconds, then it crashes and turns itself off. I have already confirmed it is not a power supply issue, as I have two different supplies that I know work. I have tested both a ryzen 7 1700, and a ryzen 5 2600. both with the same result.

specs.

motherboard: Gigabyte AORUS ultra gaming gen 2
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
GPU: Gigabyte G1 gaming gtx 1050ti
ram: 2X4gb sticks of kingston ddr4 model #HX421C14FBK2/8

Any help would be appreciated...

I figured out the issue, talk about rookie mistake... I had a jumper on the power headers to start the computer. I forgot you had to take the damn thing off or else it restarts.

While your memory is too slow for the CPU you've chosen, it should still boot up. The BIOS version needed depends on the motherboard.
