Hello,
I just overclocked my Pentium G3258 to 4.1 Ghz and everything is running great, however when I ran a benchmark test, I got 299 marks. Is this a good score? I see some people get scores in the thousands and I'm a bit confused. Thanks in advance for any help, I'll list my components below!

Intel G3258 OC 4.1 GHZ
GTX 750 TI FTW 2GB
8GB Ram
1 TB HHD
MSI Z97 PC Mate

That is an OK score for that particular processor.

Note that some processors have LOTS more cores and some systems have more than one CPU socket for multiple 'multi' core processors which is why they score so high.

I think my system scores around 750 marks using the Intel XTU from memory... which is using a quad core i5-2500k.

Getting 299 from an Intel® Pentium® Processor G3258 is OK as it is only a dual-core Pentium.
