I'm trying to decide between the h7(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4UF2DZ6565&ignorebbr=1) and the h50(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4UF2DZ6565&ignorebbr=1)
I am kind of worried about having liquids in my computer, so I'm planning on going with the h7, plus a lot of people are complaining that the h50 doesnt support 1150 sockets, so is there any actual benefits to using the h50? (Im just using this for gaming)

Sorry, you can't get the H50.

The supported sockets are Intel LGA 1155, 1156, and 1366.

The H7 is great, though. I have it and I can overclock to 4.3 at like 1.37v with decent temperatures (Low 70's is max). However I have a pretty bad motherboard (maybe about 40-50 dollars) so I have it clocked at 4.1 because anything above it is basically unstable for me. I'm also using an AMD chip.

Also, liquid cooling is safe. You just have to get a well known one from a reputable brand.

Not exactly. It's been proven that the AMD heatsink is better than Intel's. Stock coolers are good if you don't want to overclock.

My understanding is that lga1150 and 1155 sockets have the exact same mounting pin locations.
OK for pushpin mounting.
But, there can be differences in what a backplate covers.
I vote for the H7.

My canned rant on liquid cooling:
------------------------start of rant-------------------
You buy a liquid cooler to be able to extract an extra multiplier or two out of your OC.
How much do you really need?
I do not much like all in one liquid coolers when a good air cooler like a Noctua NH-D15 or phanteks can do the job just as well.
A liquid cooler will be expensive, noisy, less reliable, and will not cool any better
in a well ventilated case.
Liquid cooling is really air cooling, it just puts the heat exchange in a different place.
The orientation of the radiator will cause a problem.
If you orient it to take in cool air from the outside, you will cool the cpu better, but the hot air then circulates inside the case heating up the graphics card and motherboard.
If you orient it to exhaust(which I think is better) , then your cpu cooling will be less effective because it uses pre heated case air.
And... I have read too many tales of woe when a liquid cooler leaks.
google "H100 leak"

Your pc will be quieter, more reliable, and will be cooled equally well with a decent air cooler.
