HP Pavilion 22-h010a? not sure if this computer is good for everyday use and moderate gaming.. i will mostly play rust and counterstrike. any thoughts? anyone else bought this model? its pre owned and selling for $350, i will try and negotiate :)

true might keep looking,
but this is the only one i have found in my area around my price range :/ thanks for your reply mate!

Yeah that AIO in particular is weak sauce for gaming. You want something with a dedicated GPU not an iGPU. Some AIO will allow you to replace the GPU as well, this is the best scenario you can ask for in an AIO. While ideal it will likely be hard to find one cheap so keep as much in mind. If it were me and an AIO was my only option (ie doing custom build is out of the question) I'd aim for something with at leas t a GTX 1050Ti or better GPU and a quad core (4C/8T) CPU. I found this link today and honestly expected it to be worthless but it had some good info once I read it. Check it out.

Also what is your budget and do we need to take your location in to account when helping you find a new PC?

thanks atomicWAR, that info was really helpful. my budget is pretty low, 500 would be pushing it haha and yeah i think Australia is has alot different prices to everywhere else

thanks okcnaline, I have an old pc i will be able to get some parts off maybe thats the way i should go if i build one ill get back to you soon with the specs and parts on it, is that alright?

This is what i have so far.. computer case, fan, processor- AMD-fx 6520 six core processor, 8gb ram, Nvidea Geforce GTX 650Ti.
and everything else that goes into it but thats what i could find haha, most of it is probably useless as it is pretty old

I've helped many an aussie and you all get so screwed on prices. Anything I can do to help, I offer it freely. So that said with your current build even a GPU upgrade would be helpful in gaming. Your CPU is old and not to powerful but could easily handle something like the GTX 1050Ti...even a 1060 would do ok. The bigger issue you have is the crashing. So first thing I would do is get a legit full copy of windows 10. Format your hard drive and load it up. See if the problem persists. Also can you find out what the make and model of your power supply unit is. Do you have an old copy of windows 7 or better around? While officially not supported you can still upgrade to windows 10 without much hassle. LMK

The prices suck for sure! I appreciate your help mate, the power supply is "GH Power Ac input 230v-, 50 Hz.4A". im not sure how i could get windows am i able to download a copy on to a usb and do it like that? That would be great if the only hardware I need is a GPU and maybe a new CPU

I wont move to quickly haha, im not sure how i got a trial version i bought it and a few months after i kept getting messages that my trial will expire?
