So i'm pretty sure that my psu is about 250w and I can't really find any 6 pin connectors or anything. So I wanna run some newish games at a playable frame rate. Should I get another psu or just get a graphics card that needs no power connectors. If so could you recommend some graphics cards or psu's

A 2gb RX 460 or GTX 1050 will run new-ish games at 1080p and at playable framerates if you're willing to play at medium or less settings. A 1050 Ti, due to more vram, will give you even better performance and allow higher settings to be used.

These cards are all available in versions that don't require the 6 pin connector. Total power isn't the only relevant factor. The CPU and videocard both pull their power from the 12V output, so you need as much of that 250W to be available on the 12V as possible. If you have a low 12V, like 12A, this won't work.
