[SOLVED] Decide: 1 NVMe vs 4 Raid0 SATA SSD

The kicker is, I'll be moving large files(>80GB - 4k video editing) constantly with this setup. I've heard that the NVMe is around 5x faster than SATA, but not sure if the Raid0 gets it close enough to beat it.

I suspect that you might be best off with a Samsung 970 PRO pcie drive.
Perhaps one for source and one for target.
You pay more for the PRO versions but they are better in writing.

You can compare other drives using the AnandTech bench for ssd devices:

Of course, on many motherboards, you can try raid-0 with two such 970 drives.

If I am not mistaken NVME is a protocol that is applicable to both sata and pcie devices.
It is the pcie 4x connection that is the faster than sata III
