Hi,

I decided Win 2000 was the best choice since my previous post. I dug out my Win 2000 Pro CD but after reformatting, I couldn't get the CD to load. I remember I needed boot up discs - Is there anyway to get a hold of them?

Please can someone post detailed instructions on how to install Win 2000 Pro starting from the a: prompt in MS DOS after formatting the hard drive - it's been a while since I've used this OS and I've lost the manual!

Thanks!

You should be able to install right from the CD, just make your CD-ROM the first boot device in your BIOS. If you do need a boot disk, you can find some here.

If you have just the upgrade version, you will need to have another OS CD handy, as it will make sure you have a previous version.

Other than that, you should have no problems.

Good luck.

How about instructions - Is the installation as easy as that of Win98se? If it is, then there's no problems.

Thanks again.
