I am an architecture student about to buy a new laptop.. I would most probably buy a macbook pro with retina display.. First of all.. how is mac? Does it work fine with all the softwares??
now the next thing is i'm pretty confused wether to go for 13" laptop dual core which has 512GB flash drive, 16 gb RAM, integrated intel iris graphics
or 15" laptop quad core which has 512GB flash drive, 16 gb RAM,Intel Iris Pro Graphics
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M ???
i have to keep in mind the budget also... but the workinng is more important!!!
So.. could you please tell me what would be the difference between the two in terms of speed and performance?? and if i would be able to do the work with 13 inch dual core system with intel iris graphics ??

I have never used Apple, some people like them but others hate them. If you're willing to shell out an extra 200-700 USD for the same components, then sure go with Apple. They have better warranties and design, but if you're just going with performance, Windows is your best choice. For the CPU, get a quad core when NON-hyperthreaded CPU. Hyperthreading is used so that the OS views a single CPU core as two cores. For graphics, always use a dedicated graphics card if you are using it for professional applications.
