I'm trading a guitar on facebook for a lappy.
I've been offered a sony vaio vpcf23c5e and an asus X555l.
It's going to be replacing my ailing desktop for general media and light gaming duties.

Thoughts?

I can't find too much on the Sony, but they've been out of the game a long time. I would expect that model would be (at best) a 2nd Gen i7 and a 500 series mobile GPU.

The X555L should have a 4th Gen i3, i5 or i7 and an 840M.

While nothing spectacular in the grand scheme of things, the X555L should be substantially stronger on the gaming front, along with general use.

Neither of those are really good for any gaming, unless by light gaming you mean games form the early 2000s era.
On another note, what area are you from and what guitar?
