So I grabbed the old Pentium 200 computer that's been sitting unused in my
parents basement for years, but now I'm not sure what I should do with it.
I have most of the main components of my K6-450 as well, so I could mix
and match components to make another reasonably fast computer, or I could
keep the Pentium as it is for playing older games. What should I do?
Basically the only thing wrong with the K6-2 is the power supply, and it
doesn't have a sound card, network card or monitor. I can get all those
parts from the Pentium.
On another note, I found a game compilation cd which includes The Savage
Empire, so I'll finally be able to check that out. It's rarer than Martian
Dreams, isn't it? The compilation cd seems to have been bundled with a
Creative product, probably a video card and has lots of EA/Origin titles
including U7 and UU1.
