Which is Better the Samsung Evo 860 1 TB or the Toshiba DT01ACA100? I have the Toshiba installed in my computer now but I got the SSD for Christmas and I want to know if it's worth putting into my rig.

I would go with the Samsung. An SSD has many advantages over a HDD.

Faster, quieter, cooler, less power needed....

Should be fairly straightforward to clone the Toshiba to the Samsung Evo.

Just preserve the Toshiba drive intact until you are certain that the SSD is fully operational. And even then keep the Toshiba for awhile longer before repurposing it.

And, as always, be sure that all data is backed up, in duplicate, and verified as readable/recoverable.
