decrease in pc performance after os reinstall

soo right after i reinstalled my os i have noticed in games such as bf4 a decrease in image quality ( edges look jagged ,i get lower fps when overriding amd catalyst also , this wasn't happening before i reinstalled my os . even with ultra settings I have tried reinstalling my gpu drivers , and updating them , but nothing improves

Odds are you still have some other driver missing. Do you have anything not installed in device manager?

pretty sure everything is installed
what are the odds gpu is damaged

Reinstalling the OS should not be likely, or even possible, to have damaged the card. If it was working before you reinstalled, it should work afterwards. It must be a driver issue, unless you WERE having problems before and that's why you reinstalled. If you were having problems prior to reinstalling then it may be a hardware issue.

I'd follow the directions at the following link and if none of that is helpful we can go from there. Pay particular attention to the CLEAN drivers installation section and start off with the regular Catalyst 14.4 drivers. There have been several cases I've seen where people who have installed the GTA V catalyst drivers have instantly had issues.

Also might help to know your system specs. If it's an AMD based board, be sure to install the AMD chipset drivers located here:

yeah , I know i was afraid bcus i didn't do the install but the guy at the pc store did , it took him like a day , he had to connect my 2nd HDD so i was afraid that he screwed up sumtin , it worked perfectly before that yes , I also ran occt for like an hour and no errors
