I am building a dedicated iRacing simulator host that will be used 90% for only that. iRacing is GPU graphics intensive - less so HD or memory use. I plan to start with one monitor - potential growth to 3 in several months.
Budget is ~$1,000. - and I can bump that ~200 for the right components/architecture.
I have read many threads here and taken notes with interest. Thanks in advance for your insight, expertise and recommendations.

Budget Range: Target: $1,000 plus shipping. (Delayed future additions okay). May flex up to +$200 if needed for capable GPU, air coolin, PS and a good case with expansion room. Monitor, kbd and mouse not included in price limit.

Overclocking: To start: No. Possibly in future when I move to triple monitors
SLI or Crossfire: Best I can tell – not supported by iRacing at this time
Your Monitor Resolution: Up to 1920x1200 x 3 monitors (Start 1 monitor, add 2 future)
Additional Comments: Graphics-intensive application – especially if/when I move to triple monitors. As I understand it – iRacing is not memory intensive – so SSD offers no advantage for this app.
