Hey guys I'm having a problem here. I factory reset my laptop yesterday. When I turned it on after resetting it, I checked the Device Manager and under Display Adapters, I only see my integrated GPU. I know this laptop has a dedicated GPU which is a Radeon R5 M330. (BTW my Laptop is a Lenovo G40-80) Before, resetting my laptop, the gpu is still seen in the device manager but after resetting, it disappears and just leaves me with my integrated GPU. I also get a code 43 every time I start up my laptop due to my integrated GPU failing.
How can I bring back my GPU? and
How can I fix code 43 on an integrated GPU?

BTW my laptop specs are:
(Lenovo G40-80)
-4GB DDR3 RAM
-Intel i5 5200-U
-AMD Radeon R5 M330 ( which is missing)
-Intel HD 5500
Windows 10

Thanks in advance

Have you tried manually installing the latest drivers from AMD?

Other:
When you get things sorted out I suggest you create a backup IMAGE using Acronis True Image or a similar too. Create an image to a USB HDD or similar so that you can RESTORE a backup Image should you have similar issues, corrupted data you can't fix or your drive just dies or is failing.

I'm assuming you just download and install v18.7.1 (476MB)… I'm not familiar with switchable graphics but I do know there is an application where you can manually add games/applications should they not be on the list and switching to the R5 GPU.

If that doesn't work I'm not sure what the solution is. Also, it's possible a Windows Update might be downloading which will also add graphics so go to the updates section (settings-> update and security) and do all the updates first.

I'd still apply the above AMD drivers if you've not done so but I'd wait for any Microsoft Updates first.

hey man I tried what you said about installing the latest amd drivers but when I try to, I get an error that says, "AMD installer cannot continue since AMD graphics hardware was not found." Maybe I should try windows update now.
