Hello everyone!

I am looking to see if anyone has some education on Physx. I have a Asus Gtx 660 (non ti) was seeing about a dedicated physx card like a gtx 650 ti 2gb or should i just get a second 660 and sli? Been trying to find an answer online but no forums have exactly what i am looking for so here I am. Any help is appreciated. My comp specs are:

Fx-6100 (stock clock)
Msi 970a-g46
(Upping to haswell soon)

Thermaltake 750w smart series modular psu

10gb corsair vengeance ram
240gb ocz ssd
Asus gtx 660 2gb
BenQ XL2420TE

Yeah I agree, I think I'll upgrade to Haswell first then do an sli later. just trying to play Metro LL on higher settings and The Witcher 2

PhysX is definitely coming on for a big end of year with the upcoming releases of Call of Duty: Ghosts, Batman: Arkham Origins, and the Witcher 3 all coming with full advanced APEX PhysX.

A GTX 650 Ti would be a good add-in for your PhysX games, but a second GTX 660 in SLI will have a bigger performance impact in your PhysX games, in addition to your non-PhysX games. $200 and you are good to go with performance about as good as a GTX 780. All GTX 660's come with a free copy of Batman: Arkham Origins as well.

I would love to sli the card as i can afford it and im looking forward to TW3! Just worried my cpu may be a bottleneck if i kept my system as is or should i upgrade to haswell? Dont want to upgrade cpu/mobo yet if i dont have to

You don't even have to upgrade the mobo. You would likely see a large performance increase with SLi if you upgrade to a 8320/8350. And buying the new processor and a new 660 will be cheaper than buying a Haswell mobo + i5. Much better bang for buck that way.
