I'm looking to build a dedicated streaming pc for streaming to twitch. I already have a micro atx case, power supply, gpu, storage, sound card and a capture card (also a seperate gaming pc). I need to buy the mobo, cpu, cpu cooler and ram.
Been doing research and it seems that a cheaper alternative is to go with a Intel - Xeon E5-2670 2.6GHz 8-Core Processor from ebay.
pcpartspicker only gives two options for mobo's so i picked one of the two.

Does anyone have suggestions?

Heres what i've put together on pcpartspicker so far...

wise choice with that cpu mate.
i built 1 a few months for a lad who streams from his ps4, using a dual core i3 2x4 @3.6ghz. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/tFQypg/intel-cpu-bx80646i34340 paired with a r9 480 8 gig.

ive seen the lads uploads @1080p 60fps and there as you would expect.

he doesnt need a high end cpu because the capture card is doing most of the work and the encoded clips are smooth with no hitching.

I would consider going with a B350 board and a Ryzen, maybe 1700(?) chip with DDR4. Faster, more capable, and not dead tech (more future proof). Make sure to pair it with fast RAM.

Thank you for the suggestion!

My current build is an i7 6700k @4.4gHz but i would like to put all the load for encoding on another pc so my gaming rig runs smoother with no interruptions while streaming.
Any suggestions on a cpu for a dedicated stream build?

His uploads look great, but I'm looking to live stream video games and apparently streaming takes more cpu power than recording
