Hello . I would like to build one dedicated PC , not only for having the best performance possible in my gaming PC , but also to get the best quality possible in the stream .
So I was thinking in some ideas based in other threads that I have read in this forum . I would like if someone with experience can tell me if the components gonna fit in the case , the PSU , and if possible some possible changes to improve the quality of the PC , or some overkilled things that I really have no need for this kind of PCs .
I know that the most important thing in one streaming PC is the CPU , encoding x264 ... So I was thinking about one CPU with one price around 350$ , and the best one that I have found are i7 8700K and the Ryzen 1800X . Both are good CPU but I can't decide . Ryzen got more cores ( 8cores ) and the i7 8700 ( 6 cores ) . But watching many videos comparing the performances in multi-threading tasks , the difference is not really big , I feel like I'm going to get one ''fake CPU'' if I take the Ryzen .
So this are the specs of the PC I would like to build :
-CASE : Thermaltake Core V1
-CPU : Intel - Core i7-8700K
-MOBO : Gigabyte - Z370P D3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ( I don't know if accepts overcloking )
-GPU : MSI PCI-Ex GeForce GTX 1050 OC 2GB GDDR5 (128bit) [ I have choose this one just because it's small and gonna fit in the case ]
-PSU : Corsair CX Series, CX600, 600 Watt (600W) Power [ I don't have much info about the quality of PSU , and also don't know if gonna fit ]
-RAM : Kingston DDR4-2133 8192MB PC4-17064 (Kit of 2x4096) HyperX FURY [ Maybe overkilled for one dedicated streaming PC , but it's OK to have some free RAM ]
-SSD : Western Digital Green SSD 120GB M.2
-COOLER : Hyper 212 EVO | Cooler Master [ I know , it maybe a bad choice , any suggestion ] ?
If you have any suggestion or I have made any mistake , please let me know it .
