dedicating ssd for booting

i've been using my Samsung 840 evo 120gb in my pc for a year or so. i wanted more storage so i bought a 2tb hard drive. how do i dedicate the ssd for booting and frequently used programs/games. i want to move all of the personal data from my ssd to the hdd without haraming anything.

If your OS is already on the SSD, you're pretty much there.

You can redirect your storage locations (documents, music, downloads etc) to be housed on the HDD, or you could manually select this as a download path each time.
