Question Deep Cool SF120 Fans Flash

Setup 2 Sets of (3) CF120 Deep Cool RGB Fans. Both sets go through a Deep Cool 5V to 12V converter and then the converter goes to 4 Pin RGB header on MOBO and also connects to SATA power cable. When sitting at static color of any type, they are fine. When they are breathing or going through color cycles, they tend to flash / blink here and there when changing between colors and not sure why.....any ideas?

In your manual for the controller, does it specify you need both the converter AND the sata power? That would be a bit strange to me, sata alone should be enough amps and I don't typically recommend converters for anything. RGB controls can be finnicky.
