Question Deepcool Captain RGB AIO with ASUS b450-f Strix mobo

I have this mobo and it has the 12V RGB header but this AIO has the 5V header requirement. I do not really want cords dangling out of the case with the controller as I would like to use the ASUS AURA sync software. Is this possible?

You need an Aura Addressable Strip Header for +5v. That would require a better motherboard. Note that it is a more expensive feature.

OK thnaks...thats what I thought but hoped there was an option. If i don't plug into my motherboard and use the supplied cords, wired controller and do not connect to Aura (again not what I want) I could get it working on my system thought correct? Basically i am asking because I do not have the ARGB header could I still use?
