Hi. I have a deepcool FH10 fan hub. It's a 10 port pwm fan hub, so naturally it's designed to be able to power 10 fans. My question is, is there a maximum power output PER PORT? I only plan on running 6 fans total off this hub, but I want to use only 2 of the 10 ports to power these 6 fans. The reason why is because the fans I'm planning on using are the Lian Li uni fan SL V2 which click together and have just one cable coming off the end to power all the fans that are clipped together. I was going to have 2 groups of 3 fans, 1 row at the bottom for intake and one row at the top for exhaust blowing through the radiator. This will be a linux based machine and the the software for the fan controller that comes with these fans only runs on windows, which is why I cant use that controller. The only way would be to have a whole windows virtual machine running in the background just to run the fan controller software which would be a huge waste of resources. So can i plug these 2 groups of 3 fans into 2 ports on the fan hub, or will it be too high a power draw and burn out the ports on the hub or damage something in some other way?

Most 4 pin headers provide 1a at 12watt, most fans use I think 0.2A or 0.3A. So technically you could use 5 daisy chained fans into a single 4 pin port, but just to be safe, I would run 3 fans per a single 4 pin header, just be safe, cuz some fans might use 0.3A you know, and thats playing it risky IMO, and you didnt state the make/model of your desired fans, so we dont know how much those fans use.
