I currently have a Corsair H80 on my Intel i5-2500K overclocked @ 4.4Ghz. It's still performing well but it seems to get noisier by the day.

I was considering getting a Noctua NH-D15 or Phanteks PH-TC14PE to replace it, but I've looked around and I can get a DEEPCOOL Gamer Storm Lucifer V2 for about half the price of either of the other two and the reviews I've read say it's not significantly worse.

I do not need the best cooling in the world as I'm not even overvolting the chip and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Lucifer or DEEPCOOL as a brand. It looks fairly straightforward (a huge heatpiped cooling tower). I'm mostly concerned with noise level and keeping the chip below 60C over ambient.

Solution
According to specs on reviews it should be a decent cooler for the price. Haven't used one personally so can't really attest to how easy install is or isn't or what noise levels are like. Decibels are only part of the noise equation when it comes to perceived sounds, pitch/tone has a lot to do with it too. One sound source at 35db isn't necessarily louder than another at 30db or quieter than one at 40db.
