Default apps symbols messed up?

I re-installed windows because it didn't let me change my default apps now their symbols are weird? the photos and microsoft edge symbol is the same as the mail symbol how do i fix this!

System file checker might fix it - open an elevated command prompt or Powershell [type cmd or powershell in the search box on the startmenu and right click then choose run as administrator] and type: sfc /scannow when it finishes restart the pc and have a look

This came up-Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some
of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For
example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not
supported in offline servicing scenarios.

Run in administrator command prompt:

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Then run sfc /scannow again.
