[SOLVED] Default Gateway different on router and on my PC's ethernet adapter properties

the default gateway on my router is something like 100.xxxxxx and on my pc is 192.x.x.x.

is that a problem because when i connect my pc to router
Upload speed becomes so unstable!!!
and when i connect directly to modem the upload speed becomes so stable

plzzz replyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That may be the ISP address assigned to your router -- its gateway address. If the router network was on a different subnet (its gateway address for your network) as you ask, you could not connect to it at all.

Get your manual out and read it to understand.

It sounds more like your router has problems.

That may be the ISP address assigned to your router -- its gateway address. If the router network was on a different subnet (its gateway address for your network) as you ask, you could not connect to it at all.
