Hi all,

Several times a day my Win 10 PC's ethernet driver drops (over power link via plug, not wifi). Using the network troubleshooter usually solves the issue, and the solution returned is always '"Default Gateway Not Available - Fixed". All it seems to do is disable and re-enable to ethernet controller. It's a right pain and it is seriously inhibiting my ability to work from home.

I pulled the various settings below, is anyone able to advise if there is something wrong with the config? Or is there a more standardised way to solve this?

There's going to be a lot of troubleshooting I'm afraid, it's either the powerline adaptors dropping out or your NIC causing an issue, I doubt it router related.

Does it happen on wifi? Doesn't tell us anything but may get you over the hump.
Can you run a long cable for enough hours to prove if it does or does not happen? If it still happens it your network card, if it doesn't it's a powerline issue.

It also happens on another PC running the same Win 10 (home share version) that is running directly via cable from the router so I don't think the power link could be the issue. I just switched off the windows power management for the ethernet controller, will revert in a couple of days if there has been an improvement.

Thanks!

Check the lease times on the router and significantly lengthen them or set to zero/-1 whatever it is for infinite. The adaptor restart should encourage the router to send a new IP address, which would be the fix if the router had run the lease out. I've seen similar on my parents laptop, but it could have been user error ;).
