hi,

weird problem some help would be appriciated.

windows 2000 advanced server US english

windows 2000 clients dutch

when I set the default policy to for example to disable run command in start
menu. when I log off and back on again on the server console the run command
is disabled as defined in the default GPO. when i log on to the domain from
a client machine as administrator. the policy isn't run and i still have the
run command. same problem with users. I create an OU > I move users or
groups to that OU > create a GPO. when I logon the GPO isn't executed.

what am i doing wrong?

regards,

Martin

problem solved,

w2k clients were preinstalled. I reinstalled the clients and the policies
worked fine.
