Default Settings to Password

I need to change security settings and when I went into the 192.168.1.1 it asked for a password and I tried all the combinations with no luck. I do not remember setting a password so is there a way to reset it to a default?

We don't do passwords here.

Look in you manual or ask the router makers.

The default password will be in the manual for the router.
If that doesn't work then you have changed it, and you need to reset the router to factory settings. The procedure for doing that is also in the manual.
Usually there is a tiny little button somewhere on the back of the router that you will need to push for 5 seconds or so.
