[SOLVED] Defeated! Aorus x570 Elite no POST with Zen 3 5600x

I was lucky enough the other day to grab a 5600x at local MC store but wasn't sure what MB to get. I went back today and picked up the Gigabyte Aorus x570 elite.
I get home hook everything up and boot and it doesn't POST. Fans/CPU etc are all working but just a black screen. No Keyboard or mouse or USB work. Started to look online and found the Q flash + feature.

Follow all the directions and when I click the button my USB drives flashes for 10seconds and nothing. Apparently there is a LED light above the button on my MB and that doesn't light up either. So I removed everything but my power and MB, no cpu etc and same results.

Any advice? I'm so defeated as this is the first build I've ever had issues with. Which this year along this is build #4. but ive never had bios and new gen to deal with.

You have a GPU, correct?

Also, you need to make sure the motherboard has the latest BIOS installed in order to boot the 5xxx CPU's

That motherboard doesn't have the BIOS update needed to support the Ryzen 5600X BUT you are lucky that board can be BIOS updated without a CPU installed.

That motherboard doesn't have the BIOS update needed to support the Ryzen 5600X BUT you are lucky that board can be BIOS updated without a CPU installed.

thank you, I'll try what he does in a bit. I found like 3 other "guides" with zero luck. when I hit the q flash button my USB stick lights up for maybe 10 seconds and stops. I see the q flash button has an LED right above it but it never actually lights up.

Make sure you extracted the ROM to the root of the USB drive.

• Rename the file to GIGABYTE.BIN

Make sure you extracted the ROM to the root of the USB drive.

Yes I did that and from gigabyte is appears it needs to be renamed gigabyte.bin. I tried both ways and nothing either. I’ll be trying this video in like 20min I’ll keep you updated

I’ll confirm what version I have and yes I did do what you suggested but going to start over fresh. It’s been a few hours and I had time to cool down so to speak

Correct, the only thing I have is the 24pin and 8 pin on the MB sitting on a BOX. I've also now tried 2 different USB drives. ANd this has to be named gigabyte.bin right?

Make sure it's a 2.0 or USB stick, and even then they can be hit or miss. USB 3.0's usually are not recognized.
